UFC Fight Night: Luque vs Dos Anjos 8/12

Vincente Luque returns to the octagon after suffering from brain bleeding following his previous fight against Geoff Neal. A former top contender in the welterweight division, he is now fighting to get back to his original form where he seemed virtually unbeatable to start his UFC career. The man across the octagon from him is no easy match, as Rafael Dos Anjos is a former lightweight champion coming off a win against Bryan Barbarena. While the names on the card may not be admired by fans, nothing indicates Saturday will be a lackluster night of fights.  Miller vs Santos 125 lbs Pick: Juliana Miller Confidence Level: Low Blackshear vs Johnson 135 lbs Pick: Damon Blackshear Confidence Level: Medium Ruiz vs Amorim 115 lbs Pick: Jaqueline Amorim Confidence Level: Low Parisian vs Buday 265 lbs Pick: Martin Buday Confidence Level: High Marshall vs Dulgarian 145 lbs Pick: Francis Marshall Confidence Level: Low McKinney vs Breeden 155 lbs Pick: Terrance McKinney Confidence Level: High McG...

UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs Font 8/5

UFC 291 lived up to expectations as nine of the eleven fights on the card ended inside the distance. For two straight years now, Utah has given fans some of the best knockouts we have seen in UFC history with Roman Kopylov and Justin Gaethje's head kick finishes just a year after Leon Edwards' improbable comeback win in the fifth round against Kamaru Usman where he knocked him out with a head kick. An overall great card of fights also included a Derrick Lewis flying knee KO, a Bobby Green submission win over Tony Ferguson, and a close split-decision win for Alex Pereira against Jan Blachowicz that will grant him an opportunity to fight for the vacant LHW belt against Jiri Prochazka later this year. The UFC now travels to the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee where a 12-fight card will take place headlined by a bantamweight title contender bout between number 4-ranked Cory Sandhagen and number 7-ranked Rob Font.
