UFC Fight Night: Sandhagen vs Font 8/5
UFC 291 lived up to expectations as nine of the eleven fights on the card ended inside the distance. For two straight years now, Utah has given fans some of the best knockouts we have seen in UFC history with Roman Kopylov and Justin Gaethje's head kick finishes just a year after Leon Edwards' improbable comeback win in the fifth round against Kamaru Usman where he knocked him out with a head kick. An overall great card of fights also included a Derrick Lewis flying knee KO, a Bobby Green submission win over Tony Ferguson, and a close split-decision win for Alex Pereira against Jan Blachowicz that will grant him an opportunity to fight for the vacant LHW belt against Jiri Prochazka later this year. The UFC now travels to the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee where a 12-fight card will take place headlined by a bantamweight title contender bout between number 4-ranked Cory Sandhagen and number 7-ranked Rob Font.
